With a degree in textile design, Imogen founded Imogen Melissa in 2020, to modernise people’s perceptions of embroidery. The business began creating and selling ready-made artworks inspired by coral reefs. Imogen has since developed a range of embroidery beading kits to give 3D beading and embroidery a go yourself. Along with beaded jewellery kits for bracelets and necklaces too.
The real passion behind the brand is to show off the wonderful world of embroidery and beading and to inspire others to give it a go themselves. Whether that’s through a workshop with Imogen or one of her beaded kits.
The kits have been designed to give you a taste of hand embroidery and beading, whether you are a total newbie or a craft lover looking to try something new. Along with the beads, fabric and needles, the kit also contains a booklet of tips and tricks with video links talking you through the process and encouraging you to experiment with the beads, stacking and layering them in different ways. The colour palettes have been curated for you, meticulously sourcing the best beads and sequins, so you know whatever you create it will be beautiful!
You can also make your own beaded necklaces, daisy bracelets and gemstone beaded phone straps with the Imogen Melissa jewellery kits. These are great kits for younger crafters, giving a taste of the wonderful world of beading.
